Absolutely No Inspiration...

So yeah, the reason why I haven't written anything lately is because I've run out of inspiration...totally out! Running on empty! Nothing in my noggin! AUGH!
Maybe it's because of the endless miles of homework that have been thrown down at my feet, or maybe it's just me and my blank mind....

Who knows?!?

But...maybe...if someone were to provide me with some prompts, ideas of any sort... ;) That would be great! :D

Power's Back!

YEESSS!!!!

We got it back Friday night, and we were quite literally celebrating! It's funny (funny weird, not funny haha) how much we take things so seemingly insignificant as light to illuminate our homes for granted! Or power for refrigeration and power for computers. I missed my computer so much!

So, I should end this on a light note, which is that I am stressed to the max cause I have a paper due tomorrow, and I haven't started on it...

I'm In the Dark Ages!!

Yeah. I kid you not.

Just this past Sunday, we got the remnants of Hurricane Ike, a category 2 that was the size of Texas. It dissipated when it got near us, but it somehow hit another front and transformed into a high wind-producing monster. Three days later, our power is still knocked out and schools are still closed. I'm in another city that has power right now. It's actually been really cool, in a strange...twisted sort of way.

Junior Year

School starts tomorrow, my first year at Waynesville. Scary!
I'm taking two classes, one of which is an english class. :) So you'll probably be seeing more writing posted up here soon.
Ooh, yeah! i have my driver's test this Thurs. YAY! I'll get my license!!

BOR-ING!

Okay, I think I have officially won the award for the most boring blog in blogger history. Ugh.

Okay...I think I have something interesting to say...maybe.

It's Been a While...

Needless to say, I've neglected my blog in recent weeks... Hopefully I'll get back in the habit of writing in it again.

Our Journey Has Begun!

Well, we're here in Indiana. Tomorrow we will set out for Pensacola, Florida! I'm both excited and a nervous wreck! Farewell for two weeks!!

One More Day!

Whoo! We leave for camp tomorrow! I can't wait!! Well, I guess I can; I still need to pack and we need to clean the church before we go...but that's beside the point! ;-) I'm really excited!

But... I won't have internet access for TWO WEEKS!! Wow... If I can survive that, I can survive anything.

Ugh. I'm having withdrawls just thinking about it.

Still Stressing...

Okay, so I've finished reading The Hobbit, but haven't finished writing the paper. Ugh! I'm beginning to loathe my Word program.
Alright, I'm going to have to save the rest of my CWG stuff for when I get back home; because I'm pretty sure that I'll never be able to get them done AND pack for the trip.
Math and that blurb I have to memorize is next!!

I think they want to kill me...

*huff puff* Can't.... *puff* breathe... *pants*

Countdown to Camp...

Oh yeah, you heard me right! I'm going to camp...IN FLORIDA!!! WHOOP!
We're leaving Sunday, July 6th. That's only six days away!!! But, there's a catch, I'm not going to be able to access a computer there for two weeks. *gasp* So...you won't be seeing much of me...cause I'll be having fun!!! :)
Alright, now, there are some things I HAVE to get done before I go, I shall update you every day on what's happening. Feel freee to give me a poke and yell into my ear to get back to it!

*Memorize a passage of my choice for camp (yes, I know, I need to get this done...)

So there's my list of SCHOOL-RELATED stuff that I need to get done. I have many more lists of stuff to do, but this is the only one that would interest you. (Unless you wanted to see a list of the clothes I'm packing, but I doubt that. :))
Now, all of this stuff is writing-related, (well, except for math, but that's on my urgent list, too) so, once I complete it, I will post it onto the blog! WHOO! More lame stuff from Sarah!!

Whoo. Okay, with that, I should probably get hopping to work. I shall give updates!!

I got out of bed and made it to the keyboard...What more do you want from me?!?!

...T'was my very thought this morning when I got up early to go to conditioning.
No, not the conditioning that you do after you shampoo, rinse, and repeat. This is crazy, out of your mind, soccer conditioning. You run, and you run, and you run, and then, just for the heck of it, you run some more! Then, depending on what the captain of the team feels like doing, you either go inside and cool down, do some crunches, OR you head out past the track and to the bleachers... No, not to sit down and grab a drink, but to RUN up and down them! (see the key word here? RUNNING!!!)
Then, if you're lucky, the captain will decide to hit the fields and work on some drills. But, if you're not, you hit the weight room instead.
Can you say...EXHAUSTION?!?

But, it's all worth it to play soccer. :)

I Passed!!!

Well, I passed the written part of my driver's ed course!!
WHOO-HOO!
Got a 95 on my final!!
YIPPEE!
I am so totally done with sitting in a little box of a room for four hours straight each day!!!
HIP HIP HOORAY!
Now all I have to do is have 8 hours of in-car driving instruction...
Bleh.
And then take an in-car driving test administered by a cop...
Ick.
THEN I finally get my driver's license.
Oh well....

Can you say...writer's block?!? Ugh. I'm working on an assignment for Christian's Writer's Guild and cannot for the life of me think of ANYTHING to write next.

Yes, I know, I know, I need to post things for my stories up here. I promise to do that soon. I've tortured you relentlessly with my poetry long enough. :)

So... I'm going to a play tonight! Whee! It's Hadley's play, actually. Her theatre group is doing the Music Man. She plays one of the main characters!

WHOO-HOO!!! I got a 93 on my midterm for driver's ed today!!! YIPPEE!!!!

Only three more days of torture to go!!!

I feel like I'm in summer school...

Ugh. I have midterms tomorrow for driver's ed. They quite literally sit us in front of a tv and play video after video after video of driver's ed stuff for four hours straight. We have one, (if we're good, sometimes two) five minute cell phone breaks. Yes, cell phone breaks. Then we have a fifteen minute break in which we can quickly walk to walmart and grab a snack. Most of the kids get subway sandwiches. And the instructor we have is very laid back. He said tomorrow that we may have a different teacher who'll be stricter on us.

Off to Driver's Ed!

Yup... You heard it right. I'm taking a driver's course! I'll be able to drive legally in less than three weeks! So, anyone who feels like living to their next birthday...stay away from the streets. :)

Ugh...

Why is it that every time I read over my poems or stories they just get cornier and cornier?? Tell me, WHY?!?

I quite literally have to force myself to keep the poem/story as it is and actually let someone else read it. That's quite hard to do whenever there's a little voice inside my head screaming at me to either rewrite the whole thing or throw it away cause it's very cliche...

Writing!

Yeah, so since this is a blog that I made mainly for my writings, I guess I should either add some or talk about them.

I don't feel like adding anything right now. It's too late.

If you were to describe my status in writing right now, you would find appropriate usage in the words: frantic, disorganized, OVERDUE, unabletochannelanyinspirationwhatsoever, (so that's just a bunch of words squished together, who cares?) and repetitive. Yeah.

Don't get me wrong, I love to write. But one can get overwhelmed when one's writings are all messily tossed together in a sorry excuse for a makeshift notebook. One can also get frustrated when one is HORRIBLE at poetry and can find no inspiration for a poetry assignment due five days ago.

So, to describe the intricate workings of my numerous Word files and my beaten-up notebook, let me make a list of the FUN writings that I've been working on (but have not yet completed).

I have a couple of poems. (I didn't say that I didn't write poetry; I just said that I wasn't good at it.) One is entitled: The Journey, and another one that I have is called To Lose This World. I have a couple others that I haven't named yet.

So yeah, there's a little bit about my writing life. I'll post more about it later; I'm going to bed.
